Ethel High School Students Selected as 2026–2027 Secretary of State Student Ambassadors

Ethel High School is proud to announce that Jodie Black and Meredith Moudy have been selected to serve as 2026–2027 Secretary of State Student Ambassadors through the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office.

The Secretary of State Student Ambassador Program is a highly competitive initiative designed to prepare high school seniors to become active, informed leaders within their schools and communities. Through the program, students participate in learning experiences focused on civic responsibility, leadership development, and the electoral process. Ambassadors also take part in statewide summits and collaborate with state and local leaders throughout the year.

Jodie and Meredith’s selection reflects their academic achievement, leadership abilities, and dedication to serving others. Their accomplishment is a testament to their hard work and commitment both inside and outside the classroom.

Ethel High School and the Attala County School District proudly congratulate Jodie and Meredith on this distinguished honor and look forward to their continued success.
